ANNOUNCING A NEW KHAKI OUTBOUND DESTINATION - VIETNAM! 🇻🇳

Over the centuries, Vietnam has had a history of invasions. The ancient Vietnamese people in the north of the country came under Chinese occupation and influence in 179 BCE, while in central and southern Vietnam, the Hindu Champa civilisation flourished from the 4th century CE. In the 19th century, the French colonised the country making it part of French Indo-China, and a long struggle culminated in independence in 1954 under Ho Chi Minh. But the country was partitioned into two - a capitalist South Vietnam and a communist North Vietnam - and a long war broke out between them before the countries were eventually reunified in 1976. On our #VietVacay immersive tour, we journey from the south of the country to the north to discover a resilient culture enriched with various foreign influences.

Khaki Lab

The K.H.A.K.I. Lab is Khaki’s own laboratory for incubating the ‘heritage bug’ and infecting the city’s population with it. A multi-purpose cultural space, the Lab hosts a library and regular exhibitions, lectures, workshops and more on everything related with Mumbai.
